The "San Michelle" is a 15.2 metre trawler style cruiser built in 1969 by Clem Masters, a master craftsman in the construction of classic timber boats. She is powered by a Detroit 120hp diesel.

The vessel is in current survey and licensed to carry 40 persons. She is fully equipped with all essential safety gear and also carries a depth sounder, radar, autopilot and VHF radio.

An extensive refit costing $120,000 carried out in 2000 coupled with ongoing and thorough maintenance ensures that "San Michelle" is in very sound condition.
