General Questions
How do I search for a property?
You can look for a property using the search bar (located on the homepage). You can search by suburb, postcode or property ID.

Why doesn't myhome recognise the suburb I have entered?
If you have typed the full name of the suburb and no results come up, it's possible that the name has been spelt incorrectly. To get around any spelling mistakes, the property field uses predictive text so that you only need to type the first two-three letters of a suburb which will show you suggestions of suburbs, states and postcodes. You can then choose the correct location from the list by scrolling down the list and selecting one suburb at a time.
How do I further refine my search results?
You can refine your search further by checking any of the available boxes that determine the type of property or how many bedrooms you're looking for and by selecting a price range from the dropdown menus for 'Min Price' and 'Max Price'. Any selections you make this way will instantly reduce the list of search results displayed below.
More criteria:
You may also further refine your search by using the "more criteria' button as highlighted above.
Can I change the way my results are displayed?
Yes, you can. By using the formatting buttons (shown below), you can choose to display your search results as lists, details or thumbnails. This means you can show as much or as little information about the property as you like.

How do I search more than one suburb at a time?
A myhome multi-suburb search is easy. All you have to do is go back to the search bar, enter in another suburb and you will see a new suburb appear in your search results. You can add up to 15 suburbs or regions into your search.
How do I search a region rather than a suburb?
You can search by region by clicking on the small map of Australia in the search bar, which allows you to select a whole region rather than just a single suburb.
What is map search?
We have three types of maps for you to choose from (1) street map, (2) satellite image or (3) a combination of both.
What is great about a myhome map search is that you can get directions to and from properties, as well as locate points of interest (such as schools, train stations and hospitals). The myhome map search travels with you, by dragging the map to show new locations; new available properties will automatically be refreshed on the map.
Why does map search not show aerial photos for the suburb that I searched on?
If a suburb is not shown on map search, please check that you have the name of the suburb spelt correctly. If you have spelt the suburb correctly, it is possible that the satellite imagery is not available for that particular area. myhome map search is powered by Microsoft Virtual Earth.
Why can't I find any properties that match my search criteria?
It is possible that there are no properties listed that match your search criteria.
Do I have to register to use myhome?
